Let me guess: That hard drive is probably sitting at the bottom of the Potomac River somewhere.
And how about that Elijah Cummings? It is understandable that he continues to stonewall the IRS investigation. He was involved in pressuring the IRS to investigate conservative groups in the first place.

And well he should. A plethora of new groups suddenly springing up, obviously on the ragged edge of political advocacy (which is NOT tax deductible). The agency was right to investigate carefully before granting tax exempt status, and Cummings was right to press for it.
The mystery is why Lerner or anyone else thought they had something to hide. Some talk show host rants, and Democrats are suddenly afraid of their own shadow... like the embarrassing way the White House handled the Shirley Sherrod non-scandal, which blew up in Breitbart's face when the "white couple" she allegedly "discriminated against" turned up and said she saved their farm, she was the best friend they ever had.
What Dems need to learn is how to thumb their nose at nonsense! Breitbart or Kenneth Brechen or Kenn Brech or Beck or whatever the TV flash in the pan's name was, said something nasty? So what? Does the sun rise in the east? Are black mambas poisonous? Do people with Tourette's Syndrome curse a blue streak? Oy vey...
